Surface treatment

  • Embossing, also known as embossing printing, is a special processing technique used for surface decoration of printed materials. This technique utilizes embossing dies to apply pressure, causing the substrate to undergo plastic deformation. The embossed designs, which can be applied to paper, cardboard, fabrics, coated materials, and other objects, involve transferring embossing materials or plate patterns onto the substrate through heat and pressure. The resulting embossed patterns and textures display varying depths and a distinct relief effect, enhancing the three-dimensional appearance and artistic appeal of the printed material.
  • Hot foil stamping to the process of transferring stamping materials (such as metallic foil) and plate patterns onto paper or cardboard using heat and pressure with a copper mold. The purpose of this process is to highlight specific products or text on printed materials.
  • Spot UV, can be applied either after lamination or directly onto printed materials to emphasize certain areas. Typically, silk screen printing is used for spot UV to enhance its effect. Silk screen printing offers high ink transferability, thick ink layers, and strong three-dimensional effects.
  • Embossing is a technique that uses raised and recessed dies to create plastic deformation on the surface of printed materials under certain pressure, resulting in artistic processing. After embossing, the surface of the printed material displays patterns and textures with varying depths, producing a noticeable relief effect that enhances the three-dimensional appearance and artistic appeal of the printed material.
